Sumter County, FL. – One person was killed in a car crash in Sumter County on Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11:15 a.m. on State Route 417.
A 63-year-old man was driving a Toyota Prius when he crossed the centerline and collided with a trailer.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the semi-truck was unhurt.
