Skull Valley, AZ – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a Mesa man in his 40s in Skull Valley Saturday morning.
The fatal collision occurred around 11:00 a.m. on May 17 at Tonto Road and Tonto School Road.
Investigators said a man was riding his dirt bike-style motorcycle at a high rate of speed around a left-hand curve on the on-coming traffic lane and collided head-on with a car.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name remains under wraps.
The crash remains under investigation and no other additional details are available.
