Belfair woman killed in collision on Highway 3 at Newberry Hill Road in Silverdale
Silverdale, WA. – One person was killed in a car accident in Silverdale on Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened on Highway 3 at Newberry Hill Road at around 2 p.m., according to Washington State Patrol.
A woman was standing outside her disabled vehicle, talking to a passenger, when she was hit by a truck operated by a 64-year-old man from Sammamish.
The truck also struck a second vehicle that was also pulled over near the disabled vehicle.
The woman was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released
An investigation into the accident is underway.
