Deputies said a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Joliet Township, IL. – One person was killed after a semi-truck accident on Tuesday afternoon in Joliet Township, according to the Rockdale Fire Protection District.
The accident occurred at about 2:00 p.m. on April 21 on Channahon Road and Brandon Road.
Deputies said a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle crashed for reasons still under investigation.
One person was taken to the hospital where they died.
It was not known if the individual was an occupant of the semi-truck or the passenger car.
Debris was scattered on the roadway following the collision.
An investigation is underway.
