Clark County, IN. – A woman was killed in a car accident on Monday evening in Sellersburg, Clark County.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened on Interstate 65 near mile marker 10.
A gray 2018 Ford F-150 was traveling northbound when the driver attempted to merge from the center lane into the left lane of the freeway and it was struck by a blue 2019 Chevrolet Malibu.
The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to overturn.
A passenger in the F-150 was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The F-150’s driver was transported to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Chevy Malibu was unhurt.
