Chavez County, N.M. – At least one person died in a head-on collision on Wednesday morning near Roswell in Chavez County.
The fatal collision happened on US Highway 380 at milepost 198 at around 9:30 a.m.
A 2017 Ford passenger vehicle reportedly crossed over into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a Freightliner commercial truck.
A 19-year-old man was killed in the accident.
