One person in the van was killed in the accident
Rockford, IL. – At least one person was killed in a car accident on Friday morning in Rockford.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 11 a.m. on Interstate 39 northbound, north of Baxter Road.
A semi-truck reportedly collided with a passenger van in unclear circumstances.
One person in the van was killed in the accident.
At least one other person was rushed to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
