
Reno, FL – A driver was killed following a rear-end traffic collision at an intersection in Reno on Wednesday, according to Reno Police Department.
The deadly crash happened at about 12:02 p.m. on May 7 at the intersection of Moya Boulevard and Lear Boulevard.
Reno Fire Department crews responded to the scene and found a car had rear-ended a box truck.
The Reno Fire Department extricated the driver of the car and transported them to the hospital. Unfortunately, the car driver was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Reno Police Department.
The identity of the deceased is under wraps pending notification of next of kin.
The box truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Police believe speed was a factor in this crash.
The deadly incident is under investigation.
