Woman Dies, Four Hurt in Two-Car Crash near 43rd Avenue and Aster Drive in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ. – A woman was killed and four other people injured in a Sunday night collision near 43rd Avenue in West Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened near 43rd Avenue and Aster Drive, just south of Sweetwater Avenue.
Responding crews located two vehicles in the area. The manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
A woman along with two other adults and two children were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The unidentified woman died at the hospital while receiving treatment.
43rd Avenue was shut down between Sweetwater Avenue and Cactus Road for several hours during the on-site investigation.
