Mt. Etna, IN. – One person was killed in a car crash on Tuesday afternoon near Mt. Etna in Lancaster Township.
According to the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 1:05 p.m. in the 8500 block of State Road 9 and South Marion Road.
A Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound when it veered off the highway and crashed into a tree.
A passenger in the car was killed in the accident.
The driver was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
