Per the FHP officials, a Lincoln Corsair was heading in the right lane and heading to Bayshore Drive while a Harley Davidson Motorcycle was heading in the left lane.

Nokomis, FL. – One person was killed after a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning in Nokomis, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on March 22, at the US-41/Tamiami Trail and Bayshore Drive intersection.
Per the FHP officials, a Lincoln Corsair was heading in the right lane and heading to Bayshore Drive while a Harley Davidson Motorcycle was riding in the left lane.
The Lincoln made a left turn from the right lane and crashed into the front right of the motorbike.
The impact caused the motorcycle to move southeast before it halted in the median pass-through for Bayshore Road.
The rider was declared dead at the crash site.
Troopers closed the fast lanes on the northbound and southbound sides for over three hours causing traffic delays in the location.
An investigation is ongoing.
