The 40-year-old Belleview man driving the sedan was killed in the accident.
Marion County, FL. – A man was killed in a car crash that left several other people injured in Marion County early Saturday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2:40 a.m. on County Road 42, west of Southeast 160 Avenue Road.
A 29-year-old woman from Altoona was driving a pickup truck eastbound when he drifted into the opposite lane and struck a sedan.
The 40-year-old Belleview man driving the sedan was killed in the accident.
The pickup truck driver, her passenger, and a passenger in the sedan were injured in the accident and were taken to HCA Hospital Ocala with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
