Las Vegas, NV. – A motorcyclist died after crashing in Las Vegas on Friday evening, June 6.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 7:12 p.m. on South Las Vegas Boulevard, north of East Moberly Avenue.

A 50-year-old man was riding a 2021 Benelli TNT 135cc motorcycle northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard when he lost control and struck a curb line.

The rider was ejected and landed on the east sidewalk.

The man was transported to Saint Rose Siena Hospital where he later died.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
