A black 2018 Mercedes-Benz S560 was speeding northbound on Decatur when it struck a man
Las Vegas, NV. – A man died after being struck by a car in Las Vegas on Sunday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 3:28 a.m. at the intersection of South Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive.
A black 2018 Mercedes-Benz S560 was speeding northbound on Decatur when it struck a man in a marked crosswalk.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver drove away after the accident but later returned to the scene.
The driver, 45-year-old Maurice Washington, was arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges.
More details about the accident were not released.
