42-Year-Old Man Killed in Kitsap County Bicycle Accident on Illahee Road NE
Kitsap County, WA. – A 42-year-old Bremerton man was killed Saturday night in a bicycle accident in Kitsap County, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident occurred on August 9 in the 5000 block of Illahee Road NE.
Authorities said the man was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Bremerton man.
The bicyclist was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.
Impairment was a factor in the accident, and the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
