Gurnee, IL. – A man died after being struck by a car on Monday night in Gurnee.
According to the Gurnee Police Department, the accident happened around 10:05 p.m. on Washington Street near Route 21.
The man was walking in the eastbound lanes of Washington Street when he was hit by a vehicle traveling in the same direction.
The man was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
