A Brookings man was driving northbound on SR-281 when he crossed the centerline and crashed into an oncoming vehicle

Grant County, WA. – A 26-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Grant County on Tuesday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.
The deadly collision happened around 10:30 a.m. on SR-281 near milepost 2 and just two miles north of George.
WSP said a Brookings man was driving northbound on SR-281 when he crossed the centerline and crashed into an oncoming vehicle operated by a 30-year-old woman from Puyallup.
Both vehicles came to rest in roadside ditches.
According to authorities, the man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
The accident remains under investigation.
