Clovis, N.M. – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident early Friday morning in Clovis.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the accident happened around 1 a.m. at Grand Avenue and Gidding Street.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined.
Officers who responded to the incident found the rider underneath a motorcycle, lying unresponsive in the left turn lane of westbound traffic.
The man was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center, where he died while receiving treatment.
The Clovis Police Department Crash Team is investigating the accident.
