Northbrook, IL. – One person was killed following a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning in Northbrook, Chicago.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened at around 10:45 a.m. on I-94, north of Dundee Road.
Police said five cars crashed in unclear circumstances.
One person was rushed to the hospital where they died.
All northbound lanes were blocked before 11:15 a.m. The roadway was reopened at around 5:45 p.m.
An investigation by the Illinois State Police is ongoing.
