Chicago, IL. – One individual was killed after a multi-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on March 29, on eastbound I-290 at 1st Avenue.
Police said three vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
One person was rushed to the hospital where they died.
Police closed the left three lanes at the scene following the collision. The roadway was reopened a while after 7:00 a.m.
