Tallahassee, FL. – One person was killed after a single-car accident on Monday afternoon in Tallahassee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a while before 4:00 p.m. on May 18, on Beach Road near Gordon Brown Lane.
Troopers said the car was heading on Beach Road when it crossed the center line and into the shoulder. It then hit a ditch and a fence.
The passenger, an 82-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital where he was declared dead. The driver suffered incapacitating injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information concerning this collision was released.
The incident remains under investigation.
