Tropers said an SUV was heading westbound on Woodmont Street and heading to Hilton Drive when it did not stop at a stop sign and the front of the SUV left the side of a van heading northbound on Hilton Drive towards the junction.

Santa Rosa County, FL. – One person was killed after a traffic collision on Monday night in Navarre, Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on March 23, Woodmont Street and Hilton Drive.
Tropers said an SUV was heading westbound on Woodmont Street and heading to Hilton Drive when it did not stop at a stop sign and the front of the SUV left the side of a van heading northbound on Hilton Drive towards the junction.
The Van driver, a 42-year-old Navarre man, died in the crash. His passenger, a 12-year-old Navarre boy, was critically injured due to the collision.
The SUV driver, a 16-year-old Navarre boy, sustained severe injuries after the crash. His passenger, a 17-year-old Navarre girl, suffered severe injuries after the accident.
The two vehicles rested in the northwest corner of the junction with the SUV facing south and the van facing northwest following the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
