Two of the pedestrians were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center while a third patient was rushed to AdventHealth East Orlando Hospital

Orange County, FL. – One person was killed and several others were injured in an accident that took place in Orange County early Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on State Road 408 at mile marker 21 at about 3:19 a.m. April 27.
According to FHP, two SUVs involved in an initial accident were stopped on eastbound SR 408 when they were struck by a 2015 Ford Edge.
The occupants of the SUVs had stepped out of their vehicles and were standing between the stopped vehicles.
The pedestrians were hit as the third vehicle slammed into the stalled vehicles.
Two of the pedestrians were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center while a third patient was rushed to AdventHealth East Orlando Hospital.
A 9-month-old girl, who had serious injuries, was rushed to Arnold Palmer Hospital.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the initial collision was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The deceased driver was identified as a 35-year-old Orlando man.
The accident is under investigation
