Peoria, AZ – One person was killed and two others were injured Saturday night in a head-on collision in Peoria, according to the Arizona DPS.
The fatal collision occurred just before midnight on September 13 near State Route 74 and Castle Hot Springs Road.
AZDPS said a southbound vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the westbound vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other information was available.
The AZDPS are investigating the accident.
