Witt, IL. – One person was injured after a tractor accident on Saturday afternoon in Witt, according to the Witt Volunteer Fire Department.
The accident happened at 1:48 p.m. on September 6, on N. Main Street and W. Raymon Avenue.
Fire officials said they received a call of a man pinned under a tractor. Upon arrival the man was no longer trapped, and he was alert but hurt. A helicopter landed in a nearby hayfield and the Nokomis-Witt area ambulance service transported the man to the landing zone.
No other details regarding the crash were provided.
An investigation is underway.
