Police said a semi-trailer truck was heading west on the freeway when it slowed for traffic while heading towards a work zone. An SUV then crashed into the truck’s back.
Jacksonville, IL. – One person was hurt after a semi-truck accident on Monday morning in Jacksonville, according to the Illinois State Police.
The crash happened at around 9:00 a.m. on August 18, on Interstate 72.
Police said a semi-trailer truck was heading west on the freeway when it slowed for traffic while heading towards a work zone. An SUV then crashed into the truck’s back.
The SUV’s driver sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
