The 60-year-old man from Howe was seriously injured and was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.

Kosciusko County, IN. – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving a train and a semi-truck early Wednesday morning near Mentone in Kosciusko County.
The accident happened around 5 a.m. near the intersection of State Road 25 and State Road 19, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the semi was reportedly trying to make a left turn from SR 25 but missed the turn.
The semi veered off the road and got stuck on the nearby railroad tracks, where it was struck by an oncoming train.
The truck driver, a 60-year-old man from Howe, was seriously injured and was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.
