The rider was transported to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries

Las Vegas, NV. – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision that happened on Monday evening in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Desert Inn Road and Biscayne Bay Drive.
A Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Desert Inn and was making a turn at the intersection when it struck an eastbound motorcycle.
The rider, a 50-year-old Las Vegas man, was transported to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
The 85-year-old Las Vegas man who was driving the Nissan remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
