Joliet Fire Department firefighters transported the driver to Silver Cross Hospital for treatment
Joliet, IL. – One person was seriously injured in a collision on Saturday morning in Joliet.
According to the police, the accident happened around 6:45 a.m. in the 2200 block of Maple Road.
A Hyundai Elantra driven by a 29-year-old Joliet man was traveling eastbound on Maple Road when he veered off the roadway and crashed into an unoccupied Freightliner truck parked in the lot.
Joliet Fire Department firefighters transported the driver to Silver Cross Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
