Police said a box truck slammed into the back of the IDOT truck for unknown reasons.
Chicago, IL. – One person was injured after a traffic collision involving an IDOT Truck on Monday morning in Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred a while before 9:30 a.m. on April 28, on northbound I-94 near 63rd Street.
Police said a box truck slammed into the back of the IDOT truck for unknown reasons.
One person suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The box truck sustained damage to its front after the accident.
Police said part of the northbound lanes were partially blocked with traffic flowing following the crash.
