Casa Blanca, AZ. – One person was injured in a semi-truck collision in Casa Blanca on Friday morning, according to the AZDPS.
The collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 near Bapchule Road.
DPS said a sedan veered into the eastbound lanes and crashed into a semi-truck that was carrying produce.
The collision completely sheared off the sedan’s front hood and passenger side.
The sedan driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was unclear if the semi-truck driver was injured in the accident.
The collision closed the freeway for several hours.
The troopers are investigating the accident.
