Aurora, IN. – A Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputy was injured in a collision on Wednesday evening in Aurora.
According to the Aurora Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Hilltop Drive at around 5:03 p.m.
The deputy was navigating through a construction zone with heavy traffic when he collided with another vehicle.
The deputy was injured in the accident and was transported to St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital.
The driver of the second vehicle was unhurt.
