North Weeki Wachee, FL. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision on Saturday morning, according to the Hernando County Fire Rescue.
The accident happened at about 1:30 a.m. on August 2, at US 19 and Long Lake Avenue.
Authorities did not provide the exact number of vehicles involved in the collision.
A dog was pinned in one of the vehicles and was freed by the responding rescue crew. One of the occupants was found in the woods by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office drone unit.
The patient was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
