Seattle, WA. – A driver was injured in a car crash on Friday night in Seattle.
The accident happened at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Dakota Street at around 10:20 p.m.
According to the Seattle Police Department, two vehicles were involved in the accident.
The impact of the collision sent a car off the roadway where it knocked down a tree, a pedestrian walkway sign, and a fire hydrant.
One driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the second ran away from the scene but was caught and taken into custody.
