Deputies said a 33-year-old man of Jacksonville was heading north on North West Street when his vehicle crashed into a sheriff’s department car operated by a 36-year-old man of Jacksonville heading east on West Court Street.
Morgan County, IL – One person was injured after a two-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon in Jacksonville, Morgan County, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.
The accident occurred at around 12:54 p.m. on April 9 at North West Street and West Court Street.
Deputies said a 33-year-old man of Jacksonville was heading north on North West Street when his vehicle crashed into a sheriff’s department car operated by a 36-year-old man of Jacksonville heading east on West Court Street.
The 36-year-old man was cited for failure to yield at an intersection.
The 33-year-old man was taken to Jacksonville Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
