Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Police Department is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash that left one person dead and three others injured in Tucson Thursday afternoon.
The deadly crash occurred after 12 p.m. on June 26 on West Anklam Road near St. Mary’s Hospital.
Authorities said a vehicle was traveling east on Anklam Road when, for some reason, it crossed the median and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Tucson PD said the driver of the first vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Two other people were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
