North Bend, WA – One person was killed and another was injured Wednesday afternoon in a semi-truck accident near North Bend, according to the police.
The fatal collision occurred on September 3 on westbound Interstate 90 at 436th Ave SE near the on-ramp to exit 32.
Police said the collision involved two semi-trucks, including a log truck.
The log truck driver was killed in the accident. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The other driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident closed the two right lanes of westbound I-90 along with the ramp from exit 32 to westbound I-90 for nearly five hours.
The police are investigating the accident.
