Renton, WA – One person was critically injured Sunday evening in a head-on collision in Renton, according to the authorities.
The collision happened just after 6:00 p.m. on August 10 at the intersection of 154th Place Southeast and Maple Valley Highway.
Authorities said a suspected impaired driver crashed into another car at 140th Way Southeast and Maple Valley Highway and then fled the scene.
The suspect then crashed head-on into another car at 154th Place Southeast and Maple Valley Highway.
The victim in the second accident was critically injured in the accident.
At least four vehicles were involved in both collisions.
The total number of injured victims was not disclosed.
The suspect sustained minor injuries and was arrested.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
