1 Airlifted After Car Crash on Route 52 and Lisbon Road in Kendall County

Deputies said a truck operated by a 27-year-old man from Chicago was trying to negotiate a curve when it left the roadway and crashed.

Kendall County, IL. – One person was severely hurt following a truck accident on Monday in Kendall County, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred at around noon on February 2nd, on Route 52 and Lisbon Road.

Deputies said a truck operated by a 27-year-old man from Chicago was trying to negotiate a curve when it left the roadway and crashed.

The man was flown to a local hospital with severe non-life-threatening injuries.

The Illinois State Police, the Lisbon-Seward Fire Department, Minooka Fire, Morris Fire Department and other agencies assisted the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
