Sparks, NV. – A 19-year-old bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car on Thursday afternoon in Sparks.
According to the Sparks Police, the accident happened around 3:14 p.m. on Wingfield Springs Road and South Florentine Drive.
The bicyclist was trying to cross a street in a crosswalk and was hit by a car.
The bicyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the cause of the accident.
