Tempe, AZ – The woman who was hit and killed while riding an electric bike in Tempe on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as Melody Mason, according to the Tempe Police Department,
The deadly collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. on February 4 at 10th Street and Maple Avenue.
Tempe police said Melody Mason was riding her electric bike near the intersection when she pulled out in front of a car. The car did not have a stop sign and struck Melody.
Melody was rushed to the hospital where she later died.
The driver remained at the scene after the collision.
The crash remains under investigation and no additional information is available.
