Motorcyclist killed in collision on 10 Freeway at Avondale Boulevard in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ. – At least one person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened on Thursday morning in the West Valley.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident happened on the 10 Freeway at Avondale Boulevard at around 6:30 a.m.
A motorcyclist rear-ended a vehicle that was slowing down on the freeway. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and was run over by a semi-truck.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a 67-year-old man, was killed at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
