Phoenix, AZ – A man was killed in a Sunday evening traffic collision on 43rd Avenue in Phoenix.
The crash happened at around 7:30 p.m. near 43rd Avenue and Ocotillo Road, just south of Glendale Avenue, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was driving a northbound gray vehicle when for unknown reasons he swerved into the oncoming traffic and collided with a red vehicle.
The male driver of the gray vehicle was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
The other driver suffered injuries.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the incident was reported.
An investigation is ongoing.
