Alachua County, FL – A man was killed in a collision that took place in Alachua County on Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on County Road 1469 and County Road 219A.
A 33-year-old Earleton man was driving a sedan southbound on County Road 1469 when he collided with a semi-tractor trailer traveling northbound on County Road 219A.
The Earleton driver was killed in the accident.
The operator of the big rig was treated for minor injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
