Miami-Dade, FL – A man and a woman are dead following a motorcycle versus vehicle collision near an intersection in Miami-Dade on Sunday, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The deadly accident occurred Sunday near the intersection of Northwest 56th Street and 32nd Avenue.
Authorities said a motorcycle was struck by a vehicle killing a male rider and his female passenger.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced both victims dead. The names of the victims were withheld pending next of kin notification.
Deputies said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was detained.
The crash remains under investigation.
