The impact caused the van to rotate and strike a pedestrian crossing Laredo Street
Las Vegas, NV. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car accident on Wednesday evening in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5:42 p.m. at Rainbow Boulevard and Laredo Street.
A 2021 Audi TT was traveling southbound on Rainbow when it collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Express van traveling westbound across the intersection.
The impact caused the van to rotate and strike a pedestrian crossing Laredo Street.
The 62-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver of the van fled the scene on foot.
