Man, 55, Killed in Port Richey Crash at Regency Park Boulevard and US-19

The Hudson man was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene

Port Richey, FL. – A 55-year-old Hudson man was killed in a car crash on Friday evening in Port Richey.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:05 p.m. at the intersection of Regency Park Boulevard and US-19.

A 68-year-old man from Deer Lodge, Tennessee, was driving a Kia Sorento westbound on Regency Park Boulevard and was turning right onto northbound US-19 when it collided with a Hummer H2 driven by the Hudson man.

The impact of the collision sent the Hummer off the roadway and overturned.

The Hudson man was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Kia Sorento were not injured in the crash.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
