Grant-Valkaria, FL – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Grant-Valkaria early Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 2001 Ford Ranger hauling a boat trailer was traveling south on U.S. 1 when it tried to make a left turn and was hit by a northbound 2021 motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old Vero Beach resident, was taken to Orlando Health in Sebastian, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Ford, a 68-year-old from Malabar, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
