Lerner & Rowe Gives Back was proud to sponsor the Kassy’s Kause Gala for 2025, held on November 22 at the Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM. Themed “Get Jiggy with It,” the gala was a vibrant evening dedicated to raising awareness about maternal mental health disorders and supporting families affected by perinatal depression.
Guests enjoyed inspiring speakers, live performances, delicious food, and a lively silent auction, all while honoring Kassandra “Kassy” Aguayo’s legacy.
About Kassy’s Kause
Kassy tragically took her own life after delivering her baby due to unrecognized maternal mental health struggles. Her story underscores the critical need for awareness, education, and support for mothers, families, and even fathers experiencing perinatal depression.
Kassy’s Kause, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Albuquerque, New Mexico, continues to provide resources, host summits, facilitate support groups, and collaborate with organizations to break the stigma surrounding maternal mental health.
