Ocean Ridge, FL – A landscaper was killed in a woodchipper accident that took place in Ocean Ridge on Tuesday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at about 9:30 a.m. January 28, at the Ocean Ridge Town Hall and Police Department property.
The worker, a contracted tree trimmer with the Carlton’s Tree Service, was trimming trees when he got caught up in the woodchipper.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was hurt in the accident.
The OSHA is conducting an investigation into the incident.
